Holistic Mental Health Therapy

I received a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am licensed to practice as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota. You can learn more about my education and clinical and non-clinical training here.

As a therapist, I use creative, empowering methods to evoke client-centered transformation that provide individuals, couples, and families with tools to take away with and use over their lifetime. Some of the methods I use are somatic and body centered techniques, Focusing, re-wilding, eco/wilderness therapy, earth and nature-based therapy, mindfulness, Indigenous African Spirit Technologies, ancestral pattern healing, and ritual.

I believe everyone has the ability to heal.

In addition to my clinical counseling experience, I’ve spent 27 years on a path of personal and spiritual development. During that time, I’ve been deeply fortunate to study with Lakota elder, Francine Straightarrow and to study and apprentice with Dagara Elder Malidoma Somé.

I work with the elements of nature to reveal the source of the discomfort, disharmony, dis-ease, and disconnection that is often the cause of pain, suffering, and trauma within a person, family, or ancestral lineage. I believe that healing occurs on multiple levels- emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual and that a holistic approach is vital to true wellbeing.

Sessions are created around the individual or family and their specific and unique needs.

I currently offer virtual and in-person counseling appointments to people across Minnesota.

If you are not located in MN but would still like to work with me, I offer individual consultation appointments to assist with spiritual development and practice, ancestral healing, and ritual practices.
